We require a £60 security deposit on booking (£80 for wedding “I do” have fun package), in the event of cancellation this is NON-REFUNDABLE. If you need to change the date this must be done with at least one weeks notice, and we will try and accommodate your new date where possible.
You will receive an email receipt to confirm this has been received. One week prior to your party you will be required to pay the FULL amount, your deposit will then be refunded within 48 hours after your party, once thorough checks of play equipment have taken place.
- In order for your security deposit to be refunded, there must be no marks / stains, dirt, food, damage from shoes / high heels, all balls must be back in the ball pool and all toys in the play area. You are required to sign this disclaimer before the play area is assembled. Any damage to the play equipment then you may be liable for extra repair / replacement costs.
- If you have booked for an outdoor event, alternative indoor arrangements must be made if rain is forecast. Your deposit is non-refundable in the case of bad weather and you haven't made alternative indoor arrangements. We reserve the right to cancel your booking if you have not made alternative indoor arrangements for our play equipment. We cannot set up our soft play for an outdoor event if the weather is raining or forecast to rain. If wet weather occurs unexpectedly the soft play equipment must be moved indoors. It is not designed to get wet and can become very slippery and dangerous. If you have made a booking for an outdoor event and the forecast is due to be wet, please make sure you have alternative arrangements such as indoor space to accommodate the soft play or a marquee / gazebo with sides and flooring. We will also not set up on wet ground.
- We advise to set up the soft play in a shaded area if high temperatures are forecast. The material of the equipment can become very hot to touch if left in direct sunlight for long periods. But please be aware that some trees will drop sap on our equipment which is very hard to remove.
- We will not provide our soft play to any event where face painting/glitter will be taking place, we have a strict rule of no face paints whilst using the equipment due to difficulty in removing.
- Please do not use BBQ’s within 4m of our soft play.
- All soft play and toys must remain on the play mats at all times and balls returned to the ball pool. All equipment must be left for collection as it was set up on delivery. We always take photographs for proof.
- For overnight hire, it is a requirement that you move the soft play indoors, the equipment MUST NOT be left out overnight. You must not leave any of our equipment unattended.
- Free delivery is included for a 10mile radius of Scholes, Holmfirth (HD9 1S), any further miles are charged at £1.50 thereafter.
- We require the person who has made the booking to meet with us direct on delivery, unless a third party has been previously agreed. Set up is within 30 minutes of agreed time. If you fail to arrive within this time we will not be able to set up our equipment and you will lose your full payment for cost of hire, in this case you would still receive a refund of your deposit however.
- Health and safety precautions must be taken at all times, Yorkshire Puddings Play Company accept no responsibility for any accidents or incidents which take place during the use of hire of our equipment. We do not supervise the play area, it is your responsibility to adhere to our terms and conditions of use.
